Harrison Lake/Silver River Trip

This is a trip I did a long time ago exploring above Silver River logging camp.
I spent a lot of time trying to edit these pictures because they are so old and were stained badly.

I drove up to Silver River Logging Camp and continued past the air strip going up river.
When I came to the first right I took that and started to climb.
Then when I came to the next right I drove up it as far as I could in the car and walked to this landing.
From the landing I bushwacked to that small bump in the picture below.

Small waterfall as I passed by a small cliff area.

Looking WNW over Harrison Lake at the most prominant peaks.

Looking NW down at Silver River and English FSR going up Mount Breakenridge.

Where I decided to pitch my tent.

Looking easterly, the peak on the right is Mount Urquhart and behind the unnamed peak on the left are some great looking lakes.

The logging landing where I started from and my tent below.

Another picture of Mount Breakenridge showing English Creek Valley and FSR above Silver River and Silver River FSR. The climbers access route to the peak is the SW ridge left in the upper part of English Creek Valley.

Pano looking in the general direction where the Silver River FSR goes towards the Nahatlatch Valley.

Looking NNE at some unnamed peaks.

Looking SSE into a drainage valley that is part of Bear Creek.

View due south toward Harrison Hot Springs and Mount Baker to far to see.

Looking SSE with view of the north end of Long Island and the mountains across this part of Harrison Lake.

View west across Harrison Lake.

Well exploring and rock hounding we came across some huge tracks and followed them.

When it started to get dark we packed up and as we were leaving something started throwing giganttic boulders at us.
After looking at the pictures it appeared the thing was man like and super strong and never made any soumd at all.
Probably watched and tracked us as we tried to track it and now it was making sure we were scared off.

Hummm, looks like this Sasquatch has now been living near Harrison Hot Springs and is still throwing boulders.
